Sandstorm is a beautiful mess, its fun for a bit but cant really play it a lot and some of my friends share the same opinion, backing off to csgo or other fps. Its pretty rare for me to have long sandstorm sessions at this point. So the end result is a rather confusing experience of you being forced to certain playstyle if you want to win but it will be a frustrating random death simulator, even if you win in the end. By the time you slowplay around 1000 angles youre so late to the party its entirely pointless. More so in most popular game modes you cant afford to slow play even though the game kinda made with a tactical approach in mid. You will constantly die to random nades, proners in retarded one-and-done angles, noob tubers etc, low average fps skill of the playerbase(people hold shit angles, people randomly decide to stop holding angles and get you killed, no understanding of trading kills, etc). In sandstorm it doesnt matter how good you are.
Competitive titles are very popular for a reason, people like to be in control of their gameplay and have consistent experience that. IMO biggest issue with sandstorm is its randomness. Sandstorm looks like its a realistic tactical shooter, but you cant really play this way and i constantly see low level players just camping it out until they're done with the game(even streamers that were sponsored lately just refused to play anything but domination, lol). Siege is even more niche, but its much more skill-based than insurgency, and most importantly its not decieving in its gameplay. Promotional content may be removed if the poster does not meaningfully contribute to the subreddit. Post news, screenshots/videos, tips/guides, gameplay, questions.ĭo not beg for copies of games or beta keys from other redditors - Not in posts, nor in comments.ĭo not spam self-promotion, beg for views, or repost excessively.

And considering Focus' track record with releasing patches and timely updates, I wouldn't hold your breath for a fix to the major issues anytime soon, let alone a full-crossplay patch.Insurgency is a team-based, tactical FPS based on lethal close quarters combat and objective-oriented multiplayer gameplay for PC and consoles.
Nobody wants to fight against mouse+kb with a controller. Under no circumstances should PC crossplay be added that would reduce the console playerbase to practically zero. This game is excellent but has small community, unfortunately. It's already worrying to see same name tags on European servers.

Please release a patch soon and enable cross play ASAP the longer you wait the more players you will lose because they will move on the console crowd are impatient. I'm on PS5 in Australia it is 7:41 pm time wich is prime gaming time in the region as of writing this que time is 12 minutes on Frontline and still waiting.
It's actually getting worse 2 days in a row now I wait for 5+ minutes to join a lobby with 3-5 players or less even or not at all I quit, I really hope it's because of the crashes and bugs because this game is great, it's the only game I play because nothing else is available on console like this game.
